Its gettin’ Crazy Y’all!

As attendance continues to grow here at CFS, some classes are getting a little bit squeezy! Please bear with us through these growing pains. At this point we are continuing to accept new athletes. Allowing this growth to continue in the cozy confines of our little garage is all in anticipation of a move sometime in the next year. Once we move rest assured that it will be to a place with all the space we need. Until then realize that you still have the freedom to come to whatever class you want. Also realize that no matter what the class size you WILL continue to get all of the quality out of your hour that you receive now. There may be times that we have to modify WODs a bit, but you can be sure the substitutions will be equally painful to the prescribed torture! So the next time you’re doing sit ups in the sweat spray of Casey “the sprinkler” Stein just realize that it is all a part of the intimate family feel that is CFS!

What are Hanging Leg Raises?

Thanks Jen. Hanging leg raises. Hang from a pull up bar or rings ideally they should be high enough to hang straight. Put your body in a hollow position (suck your belly tight and roll your pelvis under). From this position you raise straight legs up to 90 degrees and lower them back down under control so you don’t swing.
A-ha. That makes sense. Somehow I pictured that the legs were hanging… ah semantics.
