No wonder Santa’s fat…
So while I was slaving away at the 5k trying to earn money for a worthy cause the girls were in Seattle at the Santa Breakfast lounging with the Big Guy! Shows whose got their priorities straight in this house. Now that I have cleared the air from that soap box let me mount a different one. At an event like the Santa Breakfast one would not expect a nutrient dense well balanced meal, but wow I think they took it to a new level. Let me break it down for you.
Round 1- The pre-meal pancreatic blast, syrupee sweet, thick hot chocolate with marshmallows
Round 2- The appetizer, banana bread, lemon bread and zucchini bread
Round 3- The main course, praying for some eggs here…No such luck, belgian waffle topped with M&Ms and maple syrup, french toast, grapes, orange juice and one slice of bacon
Holy cow, if that’s not an assault on your insulin sensitivity I don’t know what is!
